Street war in Egypt
AND MORE TO COME. PLEASE TAKE A STAND. STOP THE VIOLENCE OF THE ADMINISTRATION IN EGYPT.
Dear Mr. President Obama,
Please don’t wait until the end of the Israeli elections in January to take an initiative to put an end to the autocratic and despotic methods with which the Muslim Brothers are ruling Egypt.
The scene in the videos above will be repeated in all the towns and cities of Egypt. A civil war is about to erupt if you don’t interfere firmly. Many free minded, educated and inspiring Egyptian youth will die. Many of the faces you saw in your visit to Egypt and during your speech at Cairo university will disappear, adding more and more to the faces that already disappeared since Jan 25 revolution.
You might be impressed by the way Mr. Morsi handled the Gaza crisis. But Muslim Brothers are experts in deceiving people. They tell you something and do another thing. They show you their good face until you trust them and then stab you in the back. They are masters of hypocrisy, using religion to brainwash and indoctrinate the masses to get to reach their aims. The constitution you so rightly need to see in Egypt, is being written by dogmatic minds who care about nothing except their own interests and seize of power. The constitution which is so eagerly waited for, doesn’t give women, minorities, nor children any rights. Sensible minds and people already withdrew from the draft assembly when they realized the farce of the whole process. At the moment, only twenty are present to draft the constitution!!
You asked through the State Department to end this chaotic state and go back to a democratic dialogue. How could we have a democratic dialogue, while opposing minds and mouths are threatened to be taken to court and executed. The present ministry of information has issued a decree to close down many free independent satellite TV stations, OnTV, and incarcerate talk show anchors and Media people like Ibrahim Issa. Is this the democratic dialogue you are referring to? I am sure it is not.
Mr. President don’t let Egypt fall into more chaos. You are the President of the most powerful nation in the world, but also the President of the freest country in the world. Only with you interference, stability will return to Cairo. Please have a look at how the youth are beaten by the police during Morsi’s reign. No difference between his reign and Mubarak’s. The only difference is that Mubarak stepped down in 18 days. This administration will never step down, never.
