Challenges of the universe, we all come across during our life journey. Some face them early on and some other later in life. What are these challenges? Are they blessings or curses? How should we consider them?
These are some of questions my mind is entertaining these days. In my culture, I was taught that if you are kind and act nice to all people, nothing bad can happen to you, Karma of the New Age, as it is known. I don’t think I have ever been nasty to anyone and if I have, then most probably it was because I had to for purposes of self defense. Anyway, you may ask why I am writing about this now? I will tell you.
Three years ago major incidents happened to me that changed my life direction completely. They didn’t happen all at once and done with them. But they went on happening. One took place, got digested by reconciling with the outcome, then another happened, then a third, a fourth and on and on. Have these challenges ended? NO.
But I think that I became to like challenges. First of all, they make you so humble and know that you are tiny whatever your size of success is. They get you to be more compassionate and appreciate what other people go through. They have you more spiritual and closer to God and the universe. I believe it all depends on the colors with which you see these challenges. Do you see them through dark gloomy colors, or bright shiny ones? For my challenges, I decided to see them through the prism of bright colors. I decided to paint and form them and so I could control their color and fashion. This way, I am the one controlling them and not them controlling me.
Here I am sharing with you my amateurish drawings and paintings. This is my way of coping with the challenges of the Universe and in fact I am thanking the Universe for giving me the opportunity to experience the pain that led me to think and act differently.
